Programmers Java or .Net?

I am a Java guy. But I am not unfair at all. Both are very solid platforms to build large systems if you are knowledgeable. One thing I like about Java(java is not just a language. It is in fact a platform or a culture) is that we have so many solid open source frameworks. You can basically build a large quality system without paying a money for licence fees. Here is my preferred power stack
Front End: Spring MVC+FLexMiddle or Eclipse
Tier: Spring
BackEnd: IBatis or Hibernate
DataBase: MySql
Application Server: JBoss or Simply Tomcat
OS: Linux(Ubuntu)

Of course, the developers should be very strong. Those who can code only with an IDE will not cut it. Also, scripting languages like Perl,Python or Ruby are solid and efficient languages too. A lot of small projects can be done using these scripting languges such as text manipulation and process monitoring, reporting but this include autosys job tools. Above all is OOP, algorithms and data structures. These 3 three things are far more important than knowing a particular language.
